Kenya Flying Safari

Kenya family safari

Your adventure-filled family safari in Kenya will start off at the Giraffe Manor, home to the endangered graceful Rothschild giraffe, where you can hand feed the giraffes and then on to the elephant orphanage, where you can see the elephant calves bathing in the mud. You will go on to experience bush walks and night time thrilling game drives.
You will end the safari tracking big cats on game drives on a Masai Mara safari, going on guided bush walks led by red-robed Masai warriors and when they’re not with you, your kids can join in junior ranger programmes packed with unforgettable experiences such as learning to shoot a bow and arrow, making fire with sticks or casting animal tracks in plaster.

Saruni Safari 

Your safari will start in Saruni Samburu where you will enjoy your exclusive safari with panoramic views. Here you will get to experience the “Samburu Big Five” including Grevy’s zebra, the long necked gerenuk giraffe, besia, oryx and Somali ostrich. Next you will go onto visiting the Masai Mara which holds one of the most densely populated wildlife areas within this iconic ecosystem. The Mara North Conservancy holds great numbers of elephant, zebra, gazelle and impala.

Kenya safari in style

In this safari you will start off visiting Amboseli national park where you will get to see elephants, buffalo, hippos and waterfowl. You will stay in a tented safari camp beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep watch for lions and cheetahs as they prepare to hunt.  You will head on to visit Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a harbour for endangered black rhinos, big cats, elephants, rhino sanctuary and then to the bush in search of northern species such as the reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and the long-necked gerenuk. At Nanyuki you will see the Spinners and Weavers, a women’s self-help project with a mission to empower women to achieve sustainable livelihoods through social and economic empowerment activities. You will end the tour with the Masai Mara Game reserve, the site of the annual migration, learn about the local customs and enjoy a sunset dinner.

This is one of the less crowded parks with a dramatic and rugged landscape and home to the colourful Sambaru people as well as the rare species including the Grevy’s Giraffe. Next you will head to Lake Nakuru, an impressive freshwater lake located in Africa’s great rift valley, a birdwatcher’s paradise. You will end the tour with the Masai Mara, an absolutely beautiful area, with a great climate and which is extremely rich in wildlife, most notably the migration herds which are usually in residence during Jul/Oct.
